Welcome to Tall Cedars Beach House: a beautiful seaside home on the shores of Baynes Sound, nestled under a canopy of old growth cedars.

Cedar trees have become a well known symbol of the Northwest Coast and Vancouver Island. Coast Salish peoples have a creation story that explains the origin of the cedar. According to the story, there once lived a good man who always gave away his belongings and food to others. The Creator recognized the man’s kindness and declared once the man died, a red cedar would grow where he was buried and the tree would continue to help the people.

So in the spirit of this story, we offer you Tall Cedars Beach House. Welcome to Vancouver Island, and the magical West Coast.
