Beautiful Monday

It’s another brilliant day here on Baynes Sound. The sun is shining brightly, the birds have been very busy singing since the early morning hours and the air is filled with the promise of a perfect day by the sea. I have often said, if I could find a way to bottle the scent of the fresh sea air, I am sure it would rival the best perfumes in the world!

It is a different world here on the West Coast. Having lived in Alberta for the past 30 years, it continues to amaze me that in the first week of June we have been enjoying green grass, flowering trees & shrubs and even hanging baskets for weeks, even months. Already fresh, local produce is appearing in the grocery stores and farm markets, and last night we had fresh strawberries from a friend’s garden for dessert. Ah, this is the life.

Colin & I are excited for the launch of Tall Cedars Beach House on June 13. Everything is perfect, all that’s missing is you!
